Catholic Mutual Funds

The US mutual funds that screen their portfolios on Catholic criteria — advisers verified against the SEC IAPD registry, filings tracked on EDGAR, screening frameworks labeled and never conflated.

Sixteen mutual funds in our index apply a Catholic screen: the seven Ave Maria Mutual Funds series of the Schwartz Investment Trust, and the nine Knights of Columbus Funds series of the Advisors’ Inner Circle Fund III trust.

The structural distinction to understand first is which screening framework each family applies. The Knights of Columbus funds screen explicitly to the USCCB Socially Responsible Investment Guidelines; Ave Maria applies its own Catholic screening criteria. Both are documented fund by fund on the fiches, with the adviser’s SEC registration (by CRD number) and the latest EDGAR filings.

Every identity fact on these pages comes from a public register — the SEC’s fund-series database, the IAPD adviser registry, or the fund’s own filed documents. The USCCB does not endorse any financial product, and neither do we: see the ranking on catholic mutual funds for how the families compare against the guidelines.
